ELEA - the space-saving electric standing aid
People who can play an active part in standing up and transferring benefit from the sit-to-stand aid ELEA. All Leonair sit-to-stand and transfer aids have the sling placed around the person’s pelvis. This prevents complications in the person’s shoulder area while protecting the carer’s back.
ELEA is a convenient, everyday aid because it is easy to operate, provides powered support and is highly tilt-resistant. The tapered footplate design allows you to position ELEA very close to chairs or wheelchairs, making it easier for the person to put their feet on the platform.
The sling is placed around the person’s pelvis, which avoids shoulder problems and provides firm, secure support during transfer. The person is able and encouraged to use and train their own mobility. ELEA is also suitable for standing practice. You can adapt ELEA perfectly to your requirements with various accessories like a padded chest support.
